Installed at the head pulley of a conveyor, it continuously pulls ferrous tramp metal and fines out of bulk material as it discharges off the belt, without interrupting production. How it works

The drum replaces or sits beneath the conveyor's head pulley. A magnet assembly — either a powered coil or a fixed permanent array, depending on configuration — sits inside a rotating outer shell. As material discharges off the belt, it passes over the drum face; non-magnetic product follows its normal trajectory and falls clear, while ferrous tramp metal is held against the rotating shell by the magnetic field. As the shell continues rotating past the effective range of the field, captured metal releases into a separate collection chute, keeping the discharge continuous and automatic. Drum diameter and face width are matched to belt width and throughput so the full material stream passes within effective range of the magnetic field.
